ONE ARTIST
ONE VISION
ONE AMBITION

This site presents an original interdisciplinary practice developed over more than twenty-five years by the Swiss artist and mathematician Jean-Claude Bossel.

This platform functions both as an artistic presentation space and as a documentation and development environment for ongoing projects in Switzerland and internationally.

As part of its 2026 update, available in several languages, this site now documents the recent development of this framework, recognised within institutional and private contexts in French-speaking Switzerland, combining painting, mathematics, cryptography, music and fiction, with ongoing expansion both in Switzerland and internationally.

This framework has already been supported by institutional collaborations, publications and confirmed artwork sales in Switzerland.

STORY
2001–2025

For more than twenty-five years, this interdisciplinary practice has developed progressively at the intersection of music, mathematics, painting and fiction.

MUSIC

Institutional and private commissions in Switzerland between 2001 and 2008, produced within official contexts and supported by public and private partners.

Publication of original scores and multimedia pedagogical works.

Financial support from public institutions and private foundations.

MATHEMATICS

Publication of pedagogical works for mathematics education between 2006 and 2015.

Financial support from public institutions and a private foundation.

PAINTING

Until 2010, regular collaborations with visual artists within projects combining music and painting.

Parallel personal production not initially intended for public dissemination, including mathematically inspired paintings and dreamlike works.

From 2010 onward, creation of a production studio with a view toward professionalisation.

From 2011 onward, structuring of an autonomous painting practice and development of an economic model based on mathematical principles.

First confirmed sales from 2015.

Since summer 2015, establishment in Préverenges (Switzerland) of a large studio and permanent showroom, primarily open to professionals, with occasional public exhibitions.

FICTION

The fictional dimension has been present since the beginning of the 2001–2025 period.

In 2005, creation at Lausanne Cathedral of a musical work for soloists, choir and symphony orchestra commissioned by the State of Vaud, accompanied by an exhibition on the theme “Reality and Fiction” at Espace Arlaud in Lausanne, supported by several Swiss foundations.

Musical compositions and paintings attributed to fictional characters within a global narrative project initially conceived for cinema.

A presentation dossier supported and relayed by an international law firm based in Geneva.

In 2011, publication of an article outlining the interdisciplinary ambition of the work in the journal PRISMES of the Haute École Pédagogique of the Canton of Vaud.

In 2020, publication of an article in the journal ARCHIPEL of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Lausanne presenting key fictional figures, including Franz Gurtner, to whom the invention of CODE BACH is fictitiously attributed.

STRUCTURE AND
ENTREPRENEURIAL FRAMEWORK

This interdisciplinary practice is supported by a structured organisational and economic framework established in Switzerland.

It includes:

  • three Swiss limited liability companies

  • two registered brands, CODE BACH and LET’S GO ART GALLERY

  • a progressive commercial strategy based on artwork production, sales and partnerships

  • a foundation project dedicated to the intersection of arts and mathematics

This structure connects artistic creation, mathematics, cryptography, education and economic development within a coherent operational framework, both in Switzerland and internationally.

NEWS
2026

FOUNDATIONAL EVENT
JANUARY 2026
TRANSITION TO MOBILITY

After three years of exploration abroad, the activity of Jean-Claude Bossel Créations Sàrl entered, from January 2026, a phase of transition toward a mobile operating model, with an active presence in Switzerland and internationally.

This new phase began with the closure of the permanent 2000 m² showroom in Préverenges, Switzerland, after more than ten years of activity, as part of a strategic reorganisation.

MAINTENANCE OF A
LIGHT STRUCTURE
IN SWITZERLAND

Continued operation of a permanent storage facility in Préverenges (Switzerland), where several hundred paintings are conserved and catalogued, forming an essential material base for interdisciplinary activity and commercial development.

Maintenance of a light creation studio in Préverenges, allowing continued production of smaller-format works, including diptychs entitled CLUES combining visual arts and mathematical encryption.

Maintenance of a reduced showroom space in Préverenges, open exclusively to professionals by appointment.

INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
AND CREATION OF A FOUNDATION

Availability for collaborations in Switzerland and internationally, temporary or long-term, for exhibitions, sales and structuring projects, in connection with the two registered brands CODE BACH and LET’S GO ART GALLERY and with the creation of a foundation for the arts and mathematics.

This evolution extends work initiated over several years, already materialised in Switzerland and abroad through exhibitions, sales, international travel and projects currently under development.

PERSPECTIVES
2026–2028

The year 2026 marks the beginning of a phase of structured development and deployment at both national and international levels.

After more than twenty-five years of interdisciplinary development in Switzerland, the artistic, economic and institutional dimensions now enter a stage of consolidation and expansion.

COMMERCIAL STRUCTURE
FOR SALES DEVELOPMENT

Creation of a company dedicated to the commercial development and distribution of artworks and projects.

Progressive implementation of a financing model based on artwork acquisition and participation in the development of the overall framework, structured through successive investment stages (1M, 5–10M, 20M, 50M), with a long-term global target of 50 million CHF.

Gradual establishment of points of presence and sales in Switzerland, Europe, the United States, the Middle East and Asia.

FOUNDATION FOR
THE ARTS AND MATHEMATICS

Creation of a foundation supporting artistic, pedagogical and interdisciplinary projects, as well as research and transmission initiatives.

Development of collaborations with galleries, collectors, investors, cultural institutions and academic partners.

Objective: to build durable bridges between artistic production, mathematical thinking and innovative economic models at an international scale.

CRYPTO CHALLENGES

The CRYPTO CHALLENGES are decoding frameworks linked to artworks, events, artistic commissions and pedagogical programmes.

Through their concrete form as prize-based competitions, they create a structural link between artistic creation, cryptography, education and the economy of the art and technology markets.

This system is part of a valuation model based on rigorous mathematical formulas, theoretically established from 2011 and validated through effective sales from 2015.

A second category of prices, with an explicitly speculative dimension introduced at the end of 2024, enters its first sales phase from 2026.

The overall logic remains identical: consolidate, structure, deploy.
